Symposium and Practicum Visual Thinking Strategies

Reade Center organizes, in collaboration with several well-known Amsterdam museums, a symposium about the pedagogical and therapeutic effects of VTS. Many international speakers such as teachers, pedagogues, educational museum workers and researchers will provide lectures and food for thoughts. During the three-day practicum participants learn to facilitate VTS image discussions by practicing. This training focuses on practice and reflecting on elements of VTS, including the rudiments of choosing images for particular audiences.
